The largest subject of the semester, and the one with the least to guess at: three quarters of the paper is definitions and brief answers, and you either know the term or you do not. Every unit here is built around the questions the 2019 and 2020 papers actually asked — each one marked ⭐ where it sits — and every comparison the examiners like is built as a first-class table you can reproduce under time.
There is no multiple-choice section, and the questions do NOT repeat between years. Unlike Immunology — where the 2019 and 2020 papers were very nearly the same exam — the two Microbiology papers share only one definition term (Mycoplasma), and none of the brief answers. Do not build a strategy around repetition here. What does repeat is the shape: Section III is comparison-style, and Section IV always says list at least N pathogens, then go deep on one.
